"The boxer, less than a year old, was malnourished and emaciated, covered in foxtails, unable to walk, and very, very sick when he was found. In fact, he was far too sick for the Yolo County Animal Shelter to care for him, so shelter staff contacted NorCal Boxer Rescue, based in Davis, to see if they could take him."
